Acceptable Use Policy

Use AeroOps only for legitimate personal, training, operational, safety, maintenance, licensing, administrative, social, and business purposes consistent with your role, permissions, applicable law, provider licences, and organization policies.

You may access only accounts, tenants, records, aircraft, people, documents, integrations, and administrative functions you are authorized to use. An administrator may not grant access beyond their own authority.

• Do not probe, scan, exploit, disrupt, overload, or attempt to bypass authentication, tenant isolation, paywalls, rate limits, permissions, logging, or security controls.
• Do not upload malware, execute unauthorized code, interfere with availability, impersonate another person, create deceptive accounts, or use compromised credentials.
• Do not share passwords, session tokens, private calendar links, API keys, access invitations, exports, or confidential records with unauthorized people.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, mirror, frame, bulk extract, or automate access except through an authorized interface or written agreement.
• Do not test a suspected vulnerability against production data. Report it privately to support@aeroops.ca and avoid accessing, retaining, or disclosing information beyond what is necessary to report it.

• Do not use AeroOps as a substitute for official weather, NOTAMs, aeronautical publications, approved manuals, required inspections, operational control, emergency services, or mandatory government reporting.
• Do not dispatch, release, authorize, certify, recommend, sign, or make a safety-critical decision from unverified AeroOps data or automated output.
• Do not falsify, backdate, conceal, destroy, or misleadingly alter a logbook, PTR, maintenance, duty, recency, training, exam, licensing, safety, quality, invoice, or audit record.
• Do not suppress a hazard or incident, retaliate against a reporter, interfere with an investigation, or use AeroOps to avoid an official reporting obligation.
• Do not represent an AeroOps template, calculation, report, signature, or generated document as government-issued, regulator-approved, or independently certified when it is not.

• Do not collect, upload, search, disclose, or use personal information without authority and a legitimate purpose.
• Use SmartImport only for a document you own or are authorized to process, and accurately acknowledge the selected protection option before uploading it.
• Do not place payment-card numbers, passwords, authentication secrets, unnecessary government identifiers, or unrelated medical information in free-text fields, comments, social posts, or support tickets.
• Do not publish passenger, student, employee, safety, medical, disciplinary, or operational information through social or public-sharing features without proper authority.
• Do not export or combine records to profile, discriminate against, harass, intimidate, or make an unlawful automated decision about a person.
• Do not retain information obtained through AeroOps after your authority or legitimate need ends, except where retention is legally required.

• Do not submit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, or infringing.
• Do not send spam or commercial messages without required consent, sender identification, and unsubscribe functionality.
• Do not manipulate reviews, referrals, usage measurements, subscription eligibility, API counts, analytics, or engagement.
• Do not use another person’s name, image, aircraft, qualifications, signature, or organization identity without authorization.
• Do not upload copyrighted forms, manuals, charts, images, data, or other content unless you have the right to use and process it.

Respect the terms, attribution, redistribution limits, rate limits, geographic restrictions, and permitted purposes of connected providers. Do not use AeroOps to create a competing database, redistribute licensed aviation data, circumvent provider charges, or make excessive automated requests.

You may connect only accounts and data sources you are authorized to control. You are responsible for revoking obsolete credentials and for activity initiated through your integrations.

Unless AeroOps has expressly agreed in writing that a specific service is designed and approved for the purpose, do not use AeroOps as the sole or controlling system for air traffic control, autonomous aircraft operation, emergency dispatch, life-safety response, real-time separation assurance, regulatory surveillance, weapons, unlawful tracking, or any activity where failure could reasonably cause death, serious injury, or substantial property or environmental damage.

AeroOps may use automated and manual measures to detect abuse and may preserve relevant records, restrict features, revoke links or tokens, rate-limit, remove content, suspend access, notify an organization administrator, or terminate an account. Where reasonably possible, enforcement will be proportionate to the risk and an opportunity to respond will be provided.

AeroOps may report conduct or disclose information to providers, affected parties, regulators, or law enforcement where required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security, or an imminent safety risk. Users must cooperate with lawful investigations and remediation.

Report abuse, suspected compromise, unsafe use, privacy concerns, or vulnerabilities to support@aeroops.ca. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in the initial report. Emergency, aviation-occurrence, and mandatory reports must still be made directly through the applicable official channels.
